ABTA Chairman John McEwan will speak on ‘How ABTA Stays Relevant In a Changing World’ at the Travel Centres conference, ‘The only way is up’, at the Killashee House Hotel and Villa Spa in Naas, Co Kildare, on Friday 2nd – Saturday 3rd November 2012.
Other conference speakers will include Rosie Meleady (of Rosie the Wedding Planner), on ‘The Five Secrets of How to Tap into the Destination Wedding Market’, and John McGuire (serial entrepreneur, author and occasional TV presenter), on ‘Sorted – How to Survive and Thrive When Money is Tight’ – the title of his most recent book.
Some 180 people will be attending the Travel Centres conference – the consortium’s largest ever – of whom around 120 will be Travel Centres agents.
Travel Centres recently signed up its 54th member agency, TravelFox in Cork.
Altogether, Travel Centres-affiliated agents have 67 agency outlets throughout Ireland, with two having recently opened new branch offices: Flyaway Travel in Ballina opened a new branch office in Belmullet on 10th August, while Best4Travel recently opened a new office at Charlestown Shopping Centre in Finglas.
