New UK & Ireland Country Director for Carlson Wagonlit Travel

Johan Wilson, currently head of CWT’s Nordic region, has been appointed Country Director of Carlson Wagonlit Travel UK & Ireland. He will start his new role on 1st November 2016. This follows the promotion of Chris Bowen, CWT UK & Ireland’s Senior Vice President, to Managing Director, Northern Europe.

Johan has been at CWT since 2008 and has had several roles during that time. Until his successor is in place in the Nordics, he will be responsible for both markets simultaneously.

He said: “It has been an exciting and important journey to meet the demands of the competitive market in the Nordics and now I look forward to working with the teams in the UK and Ireland. It is a market where CWT already has a strong position as the leading travel management company and there is still a lot of room to grow.”
