Travel Counsellors Ireland Supports Travel Trade Family Fun Day

Travel Counsellors are delighted to be supporting the third Travel Trade Family Fun Day, which will take place on Sunday 13th July at Wanderers FC Rugby Club in Ballsbridge, Dublin. Travel Counsellors will travel from all parts of the country to enjoy the family get-together.

The charity event has been organised by members of the travel industry from all over Ireland and this year’s event is set to unveil some great new fun activities, which are soon to be announced. Due to popular demand five-a-side football is back and there will be plenty of activities to keep adults and children of all ages entertained.

Travel Counsellors are proud to be one of the sponsors of the event and aim to help the Travel Trade Family Fun Day reach their target of €60,000, which will then be donated to a number of charities.

Cathy Burke, Travel Counsellors Ireland General Manager, said: “This day is a fabulous opportunity for people to share the fun side of the travel industry with their families and for colleagues or peers in travel to meet each other’s families too.

“We are expecting lots of our Travel Counsellors to travel from all parts of the country to enjoy the family get-together, including from Cork, Limerick, Louth, Kildare, Wicklow, Dublin and more. I really want to commend the organisers and the volunteers for all the hard work and preparation that is involved in organising this event. This family day is all the more special because it is supporting some great charities.”

Favourite activities from previous years will again feature, including egg-and-spoon racing, sack racing, bouncy castles, inflatable sumo wrestling, giant Jenga – and there will be some amazing prizes to be won. Attendees can also enjoy the BBQ to keep everyone energised for all the activities.
