Summer for Couples

Summer for Couples

Whether planning a honeymoon or a romantic getaway, Dubai is the perfect destination for a couple’s break this July and August. With an extensive range of hotel, shopping, spa, restaurant and nightlife options, Dubai is a destination where couples can truly unwind.

Talise Ottoman Spa at Jumeirah Zabeel Saray

Bateaux Dubai Cruise (): The elegant Bateaux Dubai dinner cruise serves freshly prepared international gourmet cuisine and an extensive selection of fine beverages whilst cruising on Dubai’s historic Creek. Cost: from €78pp.

Couples Spa () (): Couples treatments are available throughout Dubai – try the magnificent Talise Ottoman Spa at Jumeirah Zabeel Saray or the Lime Spa at the Desert Palm Resort.

Dubai Fountain (): Located in the shadow of the Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest building, in the heart of Downtown Dubai is the Dubai Fountain. Set on the 12-hectare Burj Khalifa Lake, the fountain shoots choreographed jets of water as high as 150 metres into the air to a mix of modern, classical and Arabic music. The impressive beam of light shining upward from the fountain can be seen from over 30 kilometres away. Cost: Free.

Afternoon Tea for Two () (): Afternoon tea has become a Dubai tradition and there is a wide range on offer to suit every couple’s budget. Enjoy crustless sandwiches and scones with Devonshire cream and homemade jam at the Burj Al Arab. This decadent, seven-course afternoon tea is held in the SkyView Bar (or in the Tameen area during Ramadan), which is suspended 200 metres above the sea. Or for a more affordable option, Fairmont the Palm serves a delightful selection of pastries and a selection of teas recommended by an expert tea sommelier (not available during Ramadan). Cost: Burj Al Arab from €72pp, Fairmont the Palm €22pp.

Eauzone at One&Only Royal Mirage

Romantic Dinner for Two () (): From Michelin-starred gourmet dining to authentic Arabic cuisine, Dubai is home to some of the most romantic restaurants in the world. Eauzone at One&Only Royal Mirage is set on the beach surrounded by palm trees overlooking the Arabian Gulf and translucent pool. The ambience is casual by day and stylish after sunset. Meanwhile, Amaseena at the Ritz Carlton Dubai offers couples traditional Middle Eastern dining under the stars.

Dining Experiences () () (): Turn dining into a real experience with Frying Pan Adventures, BBQ Doughnuts at Dubai Creek Golf Yacht Club, or Supper Club at Jumeirah Zabeel Saray.
