Strikes Threaten EasyJet Flights to Portugal and France

Strikes Threaten EasyJet Flights to Portugal and France

EasyJet ground handling staff in Faro and Oporto in Portugal are threatening to walk out on Wednesday 15th and Friday 17th August, while easyJet pilots in France are planning action on 15th, 17th and 19th August.

EasyJet said it hopes any disruption in Portugal will be limited and said the French strikes would only impact on French-based crews, so not all flights would be affected.

French staff are in a dispute with the airline over pay and discussions are continuing with the French pilots union SNPL.
