Smart Videoguide of Barcelona

Smart Videoguide of Barcelona

Users of iPhones and iPads can now download from the Apple Store a videoguide of Barcelona, an innovative app launched yesterday at World Travel Market in London. The Android-based version will be launched in the coming days.

The official videoguide has been produced and developed by Smartour in co-operation with Turisme de Barcelona, the official Tourism Promotion Board of the city, and is being launched worldwide initially in four languages: Catalan, English, French and Spanish.

The videoguide contains geo-referenced videos of tourist and cultural sights of interest in Barcelona, and offers a service of global reach incorporating high-value features such as cultural and major events scheduled for each day of the year, relevant and selected information including accommodation, dining, shopping, night life, attractions and museums. It also incorporates AR technology as a system of viewing the sites, and a set of exclusive discounts and promotions for their users.
