Royal Caribbean Cruises Cuts UK Commissions

Royal Caribbean Cruises has decided to cut the rate of commission paid to UK travel agents to a base rate of 10%. The change will take effect from 1st January 2013. The decision was made to encourage agents to stop discounting. However a spokesperson for the cruise line told Irish Travel Trade News that RCCL has no plans currently to apply this reduction in the Republic of Ireland.
