New Etihad Munster Pearl Business Service

Audi Ireland, Etihad Airways and Hertz have a new joint partnership offering Etihad Pearl Business Class travellers in Munster a premium travel service. Those travelling to Abu Dhabi or beyond from Cork or Shannon are now offered an Audi A4 to drive themselves to Dublin Airport. Customers can collect their Audi A4 at the Hertz desk at Shannon Airport or Cork City/Airport and drop the car off at Dublin Airport without having to find a parking spot.

To celebrate this initiative, Etihad has launched some new Pearl class fares with prices starting from €1,999 return to Abu Dhabi.

Andrew Doyle, Managing Director of Audi Ireland, said: “We are delighted to be partnering with Etihad Airways on this initiative and to become associated with Etihad’s excellent premium business service. The Audi A4 is Ireland’s best selling premium saloon in its class and marries style and comfort, making it the perfect fit for the business traveller. Thanks to the upgrade of the road network between Dublin, Cork and Limerick, travel times have been greatly reduced and this option is perfect for customers who wish to arrive in style at their destination.”

Justin Warby, Country Manager of Etihad Airways said: “As a leading premium car brand, Audi is the ideal fit for Etihad’s renowned Business Class service. Ireland is an extremely important market for Etihad and I am sure this alliance will be hugely popular with our Pearl Business Class customers.”

John Barry, Head of Sales and Marketing at Hertz Ireland, added: “As the world’s largest general use car rental company and number one in Ireland, Hertz is very pleased to be involved in this partnership with two such world-class brands as Audi and Etihad Airways. We look forward to providing Audi A4s for Etihad Pearl Business Class guests from both Cork and Shannon airports.”
