Garuda Indonesia Postpones London to Jakarta Service

Garuda Indonesia Airlines has decided to postpone the operation of flights from London Gatwick to Jakarta. Initially planned to begin next November, the airline has postponed the commencement of the flight to May 2014.

Garuda has blamed the delay on runway standards at Jakarta Soekamo-Hatta airport.

Meanwhile there are suggestions that British Airways is considering flights to the Indonesian capital later this year.
