Extra Cork-Bristol Flight for Cheltenham

Aer Lingus Regional, operated by Aer Arann, will add an extra flight to Bristol from Cork Airport on 16th March 2013 to meet the demand for passengers flying to the Cheltenham racing festival. The airline has also adjusted scheduled flights to Birmingham to allow a day return for festival goers.

Simon Fagan, Chief Commercial Officer, Aer Arann said: “We are always looking at ways to improve our customers’ experience by offering more choice, great value and further convenience. We are responding to increased demand by adding an extra flight and adjusting schedules on the Bristol and Birmingham to Cork Airport routes. This move will ensure choice for our customers flying to the Cheltenham racing festival.

“Bristol and Birmingham are extremely popular routes on our network for business and leisure passengers. We continue to see steady growth in traffic on these routes, with over 380,000 passengers benefiting from an easy, efficient and accessible connection between Cork and the UK.

“Equally, Cork passengers flying to the UK have an option to fly to Manchester, Jersey, Edinburgh and Glasgow with Aer Lingus Regional.”
