Etihad to Operate Only One Daily Flight from Dublin

Etihad Airways is implementing a number of adjustments to its fleet, network, and schedule during the upcoming IATA winter 2015 season, including just a once-daily service from Dublin. The carrier is also cutting the double daily to single on certain dates in December 2015.

The airline’s service between Dublin and Abu Dhabi will operate on a daily basis from 11th January 2016 to June 2016,  compared to the current double-daily frequency. Flights EY45/42 will be operated by a B777-300ER offering 40 Business Class and 340 Economy Class seats in lieu of the current A330-200.

A statement said: “The new schedule will continue to provide guests with connectivity to key markets in the GCC region, Indian subcontinent, Asia and Australia.

“Etihad Airways apologises for any inconvenience these schedule adjustments may cause. Along with our travel agency partners, we will work closely and directly with guests who are affected by the flight adjustments to notify them of the changes to their itineraries and re-accommodate them on other flights that meet their travel needs.”
